Lets go to NYC. Ok lets do it. We’re driving. Now we’re not. So what? The Chinatown bus! Aight.

Now we’re supposed to go to NYC Saturday morning, and it was 3:30am, and we still don’t know what’s go ing on. Didn’t book the bus tickets yet, don’t know how we are going to get to the Chinatown in DC, don’t know if we should take the metro… yada yada. But finally it was decided, that we were going to wake up at 6am, and meet up at 6:30am and get on the 7am Vienna metro to Chinatown DC. Get to Theresa’s house and jump into their car and it’s like 6:45am.

“Do you guys think we have enough time? Should we just go all the way to the falls church metro and meet up Sylvie?”
“Oh we got 15 minutes, we got time yo, just go to the Vienna metro one”

So we did. The whole time we’re running our asses off into the metro station even though we think we got enough time. But good thing man because right when we get in there and the announcement over the PA goes like this “good morning, the first train leaving will be at 6:52am”

We all look at the clock, and it says 6:50am. Our reaction all at the same time…. “AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH RUN AND GET YOUR METRO TICKETS!!!”

So we all scatter to a machine to get a ticket, and I pull out a $20 and the lady in the information booth was like you’re gonna need a smaller bill then that! I was like crap that’s the smallest bill I got! I saw Diana using her debit card, so I was like how do you do it? she was waiting for her card to come out, so she’s like I’ll do yours, you stand here and wait for my card. Then the PA announcement came on “You have 35 seconds left before the train departs” (something like that , all I heard was the 35 seconds left part!) The card pops out and I am like “DIANA RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN!” We scurry down the escalator, and I see Theresa and Ralph frantically waving their hands 3 doors down, and I continue running towards them and I am like fock that! There’s a closer door here! So I run into the first door, JUST as the doors CLOSED ON ME! Yup, I’m stuck in between the doors. Theresa and Ralph are laughing hysterically, while I am yelping for help and Diana is stuck on the outside of the train. Diana then pushes me IN the train, and then she gets stuck in between the doors with her duffel bag on the outside of the train. By then I am laughing hysterically too, and finally the doors partially open allowing her to get in and the metro starts pulling away.

All that and its only 6:52 am. We were like…yesss this is going to be a very interesting trip! HAhaha…

So we continue on the metro and we’re almost at the Falls Church stop where we were to meet up Sylvie. We see her through the window as were pulling up to the station, but that was like 6 or 7 car/train/metro thingys down. We call her say, at every stop, jump out of the metro, run up one metro, and later… you’ll end up in ours. And surely enough like 5 stops later all while looking like an idiotic mole like creature who keeps popping in and out of metro cars, she joins us in our metro car! Hahaha. We get out of the orange line, run our asses to the red line, and we see 20 minutes till the next train. We must’ve just missed it, and were like maaan all that running for nothing! We waited and we go up like one stop and it’s Chinatown. We run and run and I fall behind because of my stupid duffel bag hurting my stupid shoulder and because when you have to put the ticket in the exit thing, it says, take ticket out. I was like but but but but its not popping out like it did earlier when we entered! And the thing wasn’t opening up for me to pass through, until I looked and the ticket was sticking out of where it stuck it in. and finally the door thing opens and lets me go, by the time I run up the stairs and out on the streets, it was like a 4 way intersection, I had no idea where the hell they ran to, until I saw Diana and her tempurpedic pillow across the street. Of course you see one bus the next block down, and Theresa running like a crazy chicken in the middle of the street trying to make sure the bus doesn’t leave without her, but all for nothing, because the bus was actually on the side street. It was exactly 8:00am, and we were lucky ass shiet because they were still packing up bags or something. We left at 8:02am. Definitely lucky.

The bus was niiice. We each had our own seats, didn’t have to share despite picking up more people when we hit the Baltimore, MD stop. The bathroom was nice, the seats were roomy, there were trashbags for us, yeah it was totally opposite of what Pip said the night before to me.

The whole time I am thinking, what the heck is pip talking about! It’s fooocking nice! Till the ride home that is, that bus back to dc was totally what pip was talking about. Haha.

Anyway, so we get to NYC in like 4 hours, and we go to our hotel which was like RIGHT there at Times Square, literally less then ½ a block. Perfect location, just definitely not the perfect hotel. It was called the carter hotel. Look it up on tripadvisor.com, the reviews were horrendous. “scary hotel, sketchy people, roaches, bed bugs.” But I mean at 100 bucks a night, in the middle of Times Square…. It wasn’t THAAAAT bad. The others might say different, but I aint that picky. In fact if it wasn’t for our crazy ghetto ass hotel room, the trip might not have been half as fun. We were making fun of it the whole time. The elevator has some green colored asian looking carpet. As if it was leftover from some other hotel, and they cut a square and put it on the elevators. You get the hallway, and its more green asian patterned carpet, that doesn’t match carpet #1. Then you have the walls of the hallways, which is pattern carpet #3 and then you go into the hotel room itself, and you get another non matching carpet on the floor (carpet #4) and then you have the final patern of carpet, (#5) instead of a headboard, it’s another piece of hallway type of carpet that they just glued up there. No one wanted to touch anything. Hahahahaha, the closet looked like people were either killed in there, or left to die, with just one hanger in there, I am sure someone must’ve hung themselves for choosing to stay in that hotel. The view was a view of the wall, and the tv had an asian converter plug hooked up to it! the bathtub was ghetto like shiet, had 4 handles that you had no idea what to do. The only thing nice was actually the ceramic marble looking bathroom floor. Everything else… was a HAHAHA. It was quite entertaining, and when you click on the video I’ll set up when I completely finish this entry, you’ll see what I am talking about! =)

Hahaha. Good times.

We “yatta-ed” all over the place, well expecially in Times Square. [It’ll only make sense and know what I am talking about if you watch the show on NBC called Heroes] We look like idiots, each pumping our fists in the air, in the middle of Times Square, yelling out yatta! We looking fucking reject asian cheerleaders. Poor Ralph always standing in the middle of us, we definitely looked like a cheerleading group gone wrong.

Saw the MTV building, saw all the billboards, saw the naked cowboy, ate at the restaurant row, did all the touristy shiet, walked all over the place, bought stuff from the vendors on the street, went to the Rockafella center, saw the big Christmas tree being set-up, saw the ice skating rink that looks oh so very big on TV and stuff, but looks oh so very small in real life. [too bad we weren’t there on Tuesday, when Britney Spears was skating around] Anyway, purchased tickets to go to the to of the rockafella building, which was like 67 floors or something with an elevator that travels at warp speed! The view was spectacular, saw the empire state building, saw the whole city from above, saw the lights coming from the Times Square section, I think I could even smell Chinese food from Chinatown. It was just THAT cool. I could definitely feel the building sway (you all know me and my motion sickness), took a bunch of pictures, and went down. I was feeling totally nauseas by then, but atleast we were heading back the hotel. We all powernaped and then woke up to eat some and play some. Ralph, Sylvie and Diana ate at this brewery, while Theresa and I went to hunt down this “yoshanara” place. It was this fast food Japanese place that we both ate at when we were traveling in San Diego, CA. (that’s when me and her stayed at even a more ghetto-er hotel, so that’s why we aren’t that fazed when we saw this whack hotel hahaha) Anyway, the food at the place literally took 5 seconds to come out, and for five bucks, it is the coolest fast food place on the block. I called it the FFF. Fast, five bucks, five seconds. Yup! Meet up with the other 3 later, drink some, and headed to “The Supper Club.”

Put our names on guestlist before we even went to NYC. The weirdest club ever, well weird in the way it’s set up. Go in, you check your coat in right there, and THEN they make you go upstairs, and then you do the whole pay and guestlist thing, then you go through the doors into another room, but then they wont let you stand there and make you go down the stairs and to the dance/bar area. So strict. Then we were like fock it, might as well make the best of it. we try to get drinks and the next few minutes went like this:

Us: “hi! Can we get 4 jager shots?”
Bartender: “we don’t have jager.”
Us: “whaaaaat, you don’t have jager!”
Bartender: [shrug]”nooope!”
Us: “ok, how about 4 stoli ras and cranberry”
Bartender: “we don’t have stoli ras, we have stoli orange and regular stoli if you want”
Me: “stoli orange is nasty, have YOU ever drank it??”
Us: “fine, how about just 4 stoli and cranberry"
Bartender: “your total is 45 bucks”
Us thinking; [maaaaan, makes club love in Washington dc, soooo much cheaper and better than this]
Us: “round 2 of drinks, now can we have 4 lemon drops?”
The other bartender: “lemme see if we have any lemons left.”

Whaaaaack. Haha, but its ok, my excuse…”its ok, because its NYC, they just don’t know.”

Then you see all these girls on the dance floor, dancing to a DJ that only plays old stuff, but not OLD SCHOOL stuff, just old stuff. But he was ok anyway, I was just hoping for newer songs =) And all these girls are dancing like they can’t hear the music or something. At one point, I asked a NYC dude “yo, do all NYC girls dance like this? ………………. All off beat and shiet?? HAHA” and he replies “YUUUUUUUUUUUUP!!!” oh man, that made me laugh. Haha. Then they had this awesome group, a violinist, a chello-ist , a dude bangin something for a drum like beat, and a beatbox dude. It was sooo awesome. Again, wait till I update with the videos, then you’ll see what I am talking about. THEN finally, MARIO WINANS comes out!!!!!!!! Diana and I were up in the front row the whole time, taking pictures, screaming, touching him, and then later, Mario says “lets choose a lucky lady to come up here and ill sing to her” and he let the bouncer choose, and the bouncer stood in the middle and stuck both his hands out, one of them Diana got a hold of, and the other some other girl, both gets pulled on stage, but the other girl like chickened out!!!!! So it was just Diana left, and I was like wtf! That girl is whack, I’ll take your place!! AHahah, but anyway, it was totally awesome because atleast Diana was up there, and he sang his hit song, “I don’t wanna know.” The email said that P.diddy might show up to sing the song with him, but of course.. false promoting, and P.Diddy never showed up. Haha. So then he did like this dance contest, where 3 of 4 contestants couldn’t dance for shiet. I was like man what is going on here!?!? Mario Winans was ok though, he sang like 3 songs and then left the stage. So we dance the rest of the night away and then leave cuz it was getting late and people were starting to leave.

Diana and Ralph get a cab back to the hotel like 4 blocks [lazy!!] and Theresa, Sylvie and I start walking back and get harassed by NYC-ers. I tug on Sylvie and I am like, lets stand behind this cop for a bit. The cop’s like “you ladies ok??” I was like “yeaah I guess for now!” but Theresa’s drunk ass was still talking to these random ass dudes, and we dove into a pizza joint and ate some NYC pizza. Yummilicious. Get back the hotel, and film all these random ass video clips.

Wake up at 830 because Theresa is like “wake up guys, its 830, lets go to the MOMA museum!” Then Theresa, Sylvie and Ralph are like all screaming and laughing and stuff, and me an Diana are like err go to sleep! hAhaha, finally Diana says shut up and somehow… everyone falls asleep, and we all wake up at like 1130 and it was like the best 2^nd sleep ever! No idea how that happened but yeah, checked out, didn’t know where to put our bags, a nice man in a dvd/bus ticket store said he would hold our bags for us and we were off to Chinatown. Ate dimsum, got food coma, by then it was pouring so we all bought umbrellas from the shops, shopped around, and we were on our hunt for fake bags/wallets. We just heard that there are places with hidden rooms, or Chinese ladies on the corner asking if you want bags, but we didn’t see anything like that. We’d go from bag store to bag store asking if they had “more bags” but nope! Finally, one lady was like “what kinda bag you looking for” sylvie’s like Louis V! and she’s like "what size?" And she takes Sylvie into the back room. The deal was, that if she bought one bag, then she would give us access to another lady with more bags. She was like are you guys NYC-ers? And were like nope, DC, and shes like good good!! I don’t want to sell to NYC-ers, don’t open the bag, I doubled bagged it, speak in Chinese, yada yada. Anyways, yup, 2 minutes later another Chinese lady comes in and takes us up like a block and up these stairs into like her house?? Anyway, she takes us to her like room she set up as her shop and its like BAAAAAAAAAAAAM all fake bags. It was awesome! So many things, we were all like [jaw drop]. I just liked how they Chinese peopled worked. Buy one thing, gain access to another lady to buy more things, its kinda cool. Hahaha. Not going to say what we all bought, or else when you see us, you’ll be like I KNOW WHERE YOU GOT THAT! CHINATOWN! Hahaha. But we bought things yeaaaah! My whole point in going to NYC. =) HAhaha. I love to bargain. She says the earings are 7 dollars, but she’ll give em for me for 5 dollars, I purposely put 4 dollars in my left pocket, and pulled it out and gave her the puppy dog face and said, but I only have 4 =( and shes like ok ok ok! Haha.

So we’re damp and wet, back at the penn station waiting for our 5:30 bus, that doesn’t show up till 6:30. Going back, I had to pee so bad when the trip started. This bus coming back was the one that was crappy. Smaller chairs, smaller overhead compartments, NAAAAAASTY ass bathroom. I swear I was going to puke. And the bus was still in nyc traffic at the time, I was thrown around in there like crazy. Sick. I couldn’t even get into my seat afterwards, ever time the bus slammed on its brakes, id be flying 3 seats up, and he’d go, and id be 3 seats back. I think the middle section of the bus was highly entertained, especially with me falling down from the step where the aisle was two times. Glad to entertain. There was traffic on the way back, after we go this rest stop, and I guess with the lateless, the rain and the traffic, we didn’t get to Baltimore until 1130pm and to washingon dc till 1230am. Waited for theresa’s brother to pick us up and we all didn’t get home and into our houses till like 230am. The longest trip back EVER!!!! But hey I had fun for a 2 day trip. =)

i miss richmond

I am waaaaay over due for a xanga entry. So many birthdays have passed, so many parties and events, so many random things to say, but I haven't said any of it since like july. Haha...

I will update soon, but for now I just wanted to say Happy 21st birthday Kim. It's a special birthday, so you get a special shout out for now... just wait until I post pictures up. =) and that Halloween weekend 2006 is over, and it was pretty fun! I was snow white, yet the 2 parties I went to, each had a snow white there. I will be something more creative next year. Haha.

I was down in Richmond this past saturday for the annual VSA @ VCU date auction and after party. Lots of fun, lots of costumes yada yada... more details later. but anyway, my point of this entry is to talk about one of the things I miss about Richmond.

Sure I miss the friends and the parties and all that jazz, but what I really miss is the ghettoness.

I will explain my mini story with 3 figure:

Figure1: Here we all are at an intersection. It was a green light, so I turned but there was traffic so I stopped. I am the pink car. The green car is trying to follow me too, while the blue is just waiting for his light to turn green.

Figure 2: So the green light is still green, and so the green car turns as well, even though I still haven't moved, and he blocks the blue cars way.

Figure 3: Now the situation would've been fine, if the traffic in front of me moved, but it didn't. So again, I am still in the same position, the green car is blocking the blue car, but now the blue car's light is now green. He can't go because the green car is blocking him, so he HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONKS. and HOOOONKS. The green car doesn't honk back, nor give a finger, he just JUMPS outta the car and starts standing in the middle of the street yelling his ass off. To make the sitution even funnier, the guy looks JUST LIKE SNOOP DOGG. So here we have all this traffic, and this snoop dogg look a like in the middle of the yelling at the old lil white man. "WATCHU WANT BITCH, YOU DONT WANT NONE OF THIS, GET OUT OF THE CAR. JUST GET OUT OF THE CAR BITCH! WHATCHU WANT WATCHU WANT, YOU AINT GOT SHIT, YOU DONT WANT NONE OF THIS" That was just a portion of what he said. But every other sentence was "YOU DONT WANT NONE OF THIS."

Me and my brother were laughin our asses off. For real, it made my day.

part 1: ORGI night 2!

nono.. not THAT kind of orgi night, but there was definitely a lot of bumpin and grindin going on. It was held at Club Love on June 17, and it was their once a month "asian night" thing brought to you by like DCnites and DNrg etc. Lots of people, lots of drunkards, the same old thaaang. The only thing different this time was that it was on the 2nd floor instead of 3rd and I think thats the most packed floor in the place, so it was just TOO crowded that night. Because if it was on the 3rd floor, it would be strictly the orgi party cuz no one knows how to get upstairs. but since it's on the 2nd, sooo many random people who stop because there are asians ;)

No we didn't plan a Black and White night. Let alone... zebra print! Hahaha. // DJ chizzaU up on the platform

part 2: Myrtle Beach Trip

Mrytle Beach 2006. It seems like every year, no matter which other place we plan to go to, we always end up at Myrtle Beach. We ruled out VA beach, planned for OBX, but the last minute decided on Myrtle! But no complaints here, I love that beach. The water is ALWAYS warm, and it beats any other mid east coast beach anyday!

16 people, 9 girls, 7 guys, 4 cars, 2 rooms and a paaaaartridge in a pear treeeeee. Just kidding.

We all headed down to Richmond the Friday night before, to meet with everyone else who was going but were at school. The point of leaving to Richmond the night before, so we could get more sleep in, and NOT have to wake up at 5am to drive down, and to beat some sorta traffic. We definitely did not get any good sleep in, in fact we were all up all night singing to this cool magic mic karoake thing. It was so cool, even I was singing. and I DONT SING!

Saturday morning. We aimed to leave by 6:30, that obviously didn't happen, but we still had good time. I drove Chau's SUV the whole way down to Myrtle. The car ride THERE is always easy. Everyone is always up and talkative and.. alive. Driving back... everyone is always passed out and well... dead silent. Haha. Jammin' to XM radio and everyones loaded Ipod we were greeat and then more than halfway there, we were in a little time consuming incident. Gas station like normal, but this time, Sylvies keys were locked inside her car. Her car has the automatic lock after 30 seconds thing, great for forgetful people. But BAD for forgetful people too. Cat and Theresa left the car, and Sylvie forgot to warn them... and 30 seconds later... *loooock!!* Called a locksmith person guy, who just so happens to be right across the street, and like 30 seconds later... he was now the hero.

There was no traffic, kinda thick at some points, but definitely not the "holiday traffic" I was scared of running into. But many gas stops, bathroom stops, mcdonald stops, pizza stops and alcohol beverages stops later... we were there at 4 on the dot for our hotel check in! Hit the beach right away, well only 13 of us at the time. The other 3 people didn't leave NOVA until about that time. Showered, ate at Joes Crab Shack or something, and then went to Club Kryptonite for some asian invasion up in the peice. Hahaha. But it's always funny when you're with a huge group of friends, and then you go somewhere.. predominantly white.. and you run into another big group of asian people. You always get exchanges of looks like "wtf, were supposed to be the only asians here you motha foooocka!!!" Ok, maybe not to THAT extent, but you know what I mean =) The club was paaaacked, and we drank a lot of those test tube shooter things. Gotta love those! By the time we got home, the other 3 finally made it down from Nova and we had our lovely group of 16 to wreck some havok.

The rest of the beach trip was consisted of laying out in the sun, tanning, taking pictures, frolicking in the water, eating and hmm.. yeah drinking.

Of course I don't have the super C cups, and there is no video camera to run in super slow motion so my boobs are bouncing up and down, but hey, these will have to do =)

So on our way back, just an hour into our drive[still in SC, the shortest part of the drive], freakin' semi 18 wheeler decided to merge lanes. Merge lanes right into Sylvies car!!!

We saw it coming too, a few minutes before, we were like maan! look at this jack ass truck driver driving! He is swerving everywhere! Switchin lanes like hes in the fast and the furious or something. Then we see him fishtail and all the cars in front of us dodge something in the street and pull into the next lane, and then we pull up and see that it was poor sylvies car, and it was a part of her car that everyone was dodging. Focked up rims, no side mirror, a flat tire.. it sucked. The cops came, even stopped traffic for us to all to cross the street! Anyway, it was the 4th of july, and NOTHING was open. We spent 3 something hours trying to figure out what to do, and finally state farm gave her the address of an open garage. Had to leave her car in SC, and put everyone into 3 cars instead of 4. Worked out, no one was hurt, only sucked leaving her car there in SC, cuz that means shes gotta go back and get it, but heeey, another ROAD TRIP?

and we leave at 11am, and got home at like 12am. or something. NO traffic. Oh well, other than that last incident... it was a great getaway to the beach=)

PART 3:

Grand Opening of MOONLIGHT @ H2O!!

It was Sylvies birthday, but also the grand opening of the moonlight party. Everyone was there getting their free drink on, and gettin their drunk on. I swear everyone except the birthday girl herself got thrown into detox. I was like waaat the.... I was drunk too, but after I saw everyone else, I was like shiet who the hell is going to drive home?? I ended up driving theresa's car back with her navi who doesn't seem to like me. Haha, it was a great nite, very interesting nite, stories will have to be left in the circle, but it made it into my top 3 funniest drunk friends moments. haha. Anyway, it was crowded and fun. Good job dcnites, dcnrg and climax!

Aight, first off, it was NOT the cast. It was 3 girls. 3 of the.. hmm... not as popular girls. Alex M, Alex H, and Taylor. They were drunk off their asses, in my opinion. One was getting hit on by a random asian dude, one was making out with a random white dude, they had a photographer/video camera person wtih them, and like a manager type of person, who only cared about getting them paid. Taylor was definitely the nicest, or maybe she was just the least drunk. HAhaha who knows.

I call it the pre entry before the real entry for one reason and one reason only. Okay, I lied, 2 reasons.

1. To make a public announcement about the grand opening of H20, well not the grand opening of H20 itself, but the grand opening of the MOONLIGHT party. Think.... the Orgi Asian Party at Club Love, but this time with 4 different promotion teams united to throw the Moonlight party, each and every friday!!! DJ Chizzau is spinning =) and so is Dj Twinspin. This time they aren't spinning together, but they each have their own room, playing their own thing. Pretty exciting if you ask me! Anyway, OPEN BAR from 9-11pm, FREE food, FREE guestlist.... what more could you ask for!?

2. I need time... (aka I am lazy right now) to type up an entry about our July 4th weekend trip to Myrtle Beach!!!

Highlights to that trip included:
-me driving the whole way down to myrtle beach in Chaus SUV. I love driving big cars with xm and navi!! haha..
-the keys to sylvies car, getting locked inside her own car at a gas station half way DOWN to the beach
-sylvies car getting hit by a big 18 wheeler semi truck, just one hour into our drive going back UP.
-The lifeguard leaving his stand for a little bit, so we stole.. no borrowed.. his red bouy thingyamjig and pretended to be baywatch lifeguards. haha.
-A huge ass wave knocked me over... and my sunglasses. I thought I was going to die in the wave!! I felt my sunglasses fall off, felt them on the ground, by the time I tried to get up to get them, another waves knocked me over. DAMNIT. oh well, they were only $4 sunglasses anyway =)
-Liem losing his sunglasses in the ocean, but that could've been avoided because it was boys being boys and they were rough housing... haha..
-Club Kryptonite.... a week after the superman movie was released. The club kryptonite sign was just glowing with greeness!

Well actually, theres many highlights, but highlights are the same without pictures to describe it. Hahaha, in fact, none of my entries are the same without pictures. It's just not true update to me.

So I will update in the next few days.. so be on the lookout if you need some boredom material!!

Miami and Mexico Cruise 2006

Miami, Key West, Mexico Cruise 2006!!

11 people. 1 great time.

Where everything was great, except the actual cruise boat. Ok, so not the boat itself because the boat was cool, but the motion sickness. MAN I suck. Everyones drinking up a storm the whole time, and I didn't even need to drink like THAT. I already felt dizzy and drunk the whole trip! Hahaha.... Anyway, the whole trip was great, lots of sun, sand, wind, water and fooood. And of course tons of pictures. With all our pictures combined we took like over 4000 pictures. Fantastic! So of course I tried to pick and choose some of my favorite pictures to post up and it'll be a much easier summary of the trip than sitting through imagestation and clicking and clicking to see picture after picture. Hahaha...

Washington Dulles: IAD --------> Miami, FL: MIA

So the 8 of us took a 5:30pm flight from Dulles while the other 3 people took a flight from the DC airport an hour or so later. Our flight took a long time to depart and we all pretty much ended up at the MIA airport around the same time. Our plane was the smallest plane I have ever flown on. I once went on a plane that was 2 seats-aisle-2 seats, but as a normal airline flight, a 1 seat-aisle-2 seats, is a damn small plane. I was like... hmm, will the flight turbulance be worse or will it be better. All I know is during the descending part, that barf bag sure came in handy. Haha.

We had to board the plane from the outside, my brother had to duck to get in the door! // and of course the saying "come fly the friendly skies"... the sky WAS nice decked with pretty blue clouds and all!

It was dark when we arrived, and so on the plane we were able to catch a sunsetting rainbow like view. WELCOME TO MIAMI! aboard flight 4475 on american airlines, where 2 asian boys tried to be claimed as baggage after being dumped on to the conveyer belt! Poor Theresa, AA lost her luggage. Well, not LOST, since it didn't even LEAVE Dulles airport. Boy was she upset, but anyone would be right? Good thing we left a day early for the cruise, or else she'd be clothless.. haha... but then again, everyone else packed enough for an army. Her luggage ended up coming straight to the cruise ship, good thing, but still, BAD AA.

Angry Theresa // and our supershuttle van! $55 dollars wherever you go and it fits 11 people. Definitely worth it if you have a big group!

It was pretty late by the time we checked into our hotel, so we only had time to go out and eat, stop by wet willies and get a drink and roam the beach and climb palms trees. It was a wednesday evening, and the strip was already crowded. And it is ONLY a wednesday! That's how Miami does! But as this being my 2nd time in Miami, I still think it is overrated. My favorite part of Miami... the beach. Yup!

When you drink, you think you are invincible and have super powers. Powers that include climbing palm trees. Maimi people were probably like damn asian tourists!! Hahaha.

I tried to climb a tree that had a string, thinking it was easier.... but obviously I didn't drink enough and my super powers were not strong enough to climb that tree. So I ended up with sand down my pants. // We did however all found a tree later on that we could climb up, it obviously was like 2 feet from the ground, and it wasn't even a palm tree! but who noticed right? =)

Thursday before the boarding the cruise...

we had ample of time to go eat and play before our 4pm boarding, so we walked a few blocks down and ate our fav restaurant, BIG PINK! Where everything is pink, except the food =) It's like a california pizza kitchen / Ihop/ Dennys/ everything else, all in one big ass menu. All at an affordable price! [haha, i should become a tour guide=P ]

After we ate, we walked towards the beach. All was swell, till outta nowhere my brother starts screaming, and we're like ???? He flaps his left arm around like he's crazy, and then we finally hear ... "a BIRD POOPED ON ME!!" Dang, what an unfortunante mishap. HAHAHAHA. Good thing it was my brother and not me! I wouldv'e raised some hell with the birdie. =)

We had time to wade around and frolick in the miami beach waters. The only ones on the beach with clothes on, so we were being stared at. Well I choose to be stared at because we had clothes on, than because there are 11 asians walking around. Haha..

So right after the drill.. it was a sailing away party! There's a picture of the highway we drove on to get to the port, and well... the port itself as we were leaving! // we were standing at the front of the boat to check out the scenery, but maaaaaaaaan it was windy!

KEY WEST, Florida.

Where the water was salty and the sand was rocky. Miami beach > Key West beach. The water was still pretty, and there were rocks to swim out to and take pictures on, and of course we were able to kayak and stuff, but otherwise, that beach was just ok. But we had fun laying out and playing around. We did see a lot of school of fishes around the rocks and of course we took pictures like we were models. idiotic models that is. We tried the whole... victoria secret swimsuit issue pose all sexy on the rocks, but yeah like i said.. we look like idiots! HAhaha...

KAYAK-ing

$20 bucks for each kayak for an hour. I swear it was the longest hour of my life. After like 30 minutes, my arms were tired, there is really nothing to look at, and we started playing bumper kayaks. I did at one point jump off and floated around in the ocean for liem to "save" me. When I tried to get back on the kayak I straight went on up and over right back into the water on the other side. Awesome. Haha.

Calica, MEXICO

We didn't have to leave the ship until 12pm for mexico, so that extra sleep was nice and we were well rested for our 8 hours or so in mexico. We had reserved a personal tour guide and a van for our group. It was tiight. Maybe it was tight because she kept asking us if we were thirsty and wanted to drink, and out of soda, water, juice.. she also had an option of mexican beer! Mini sized, so it would never be wasted!

We had a whole day of snorkeling pretty much scheduled. Frist we went to see the ruins of mexico, then it was snorkeling in a cave of fresh water, and then it was playing with monkeys, and then it was snorkeling out in the sea in search of sea turtles and other fish.

The RUINs

Looks nice, but its nothing compared to Angkor Wat, in Cambodia. In fact, this was tiiiiny compared to that, but it was still nice. Walked around, took pictures, only sucked a little because you cant really climb all over the ruins like in cambodia. -shrug- Walking around looking isnt the same as touching. HAhaha..

A view of the cave we snorkeled in. Doesn't it look soo shallow? When she asked us if we wanted to wear a life vest, I was like.. what? why? Shiet looks like its 5 feet deep, but after going in and sticking your head underwater, it is in fact very deep! She said the visibility of the water was 250 feet. Meaning if the ground went 250 feet deep, we would be able to see straight down that far. Niiiice huh? // me and denley posing for a picture

We stopped to play with some monkeys! The baby monkey was sooooooooo adorable! you could just put your hand out, and the monkey would crawl on you. So precious! Makes me want a monkey for reals! [but not like the one monkey in the friends episode.. haha, that one is wild!] It was kinda scary, but only because its so furry. Hahahaha..

After a few glasses of wine and champagne and other mixed drinks... we decided the "deck party" was the night to get drunk and run around like crazy fools. I bet we did make that impression. Being the only group of young asians, screaming out random stuff, dancing funky, and when the band was playing and giving out state shout outs, we were screaming "VIIIIIIRGINIA" ... like we were so proud of it. PSssh. But it wasn't until liem went up there and told the man to give a shout out to vietnam.... thats when we all scurried to every which way on the boat... and tried to not associate ourselves with liem. Hahaha. Atleast the group of black old ladies were laughin=)

Then afterwards, we went to this so called age "18-24" club. Pretty much it was like 18+ but... kinda like 40+. It was like.. what the heck is your momma doing in here??? but its ok, mainly african american people, and you know they can always get down with it. and trust me, it was waaaaaaaaay down. so down that when the song by shawnna.. "gettin' some *beep*" came on.... the girl dropped down the ground and did that "motion" to the beat. GREAT entertainment I tell ya!

So were dancing around and there are cruise member worker people dancing and chillin too. Being the asians that we are, we took pictures with them. Liem took the women, and we took the one dude. Lovely.

yes, they weren't even ON her nipples. So after were all hyper from the club, we walk around and get some food in the 24/7 food area. Run into a wild black group.. and well.. the pictures show a little bit of what happened:

Sunday: DAY AT SEA

all day long, the cruise ship was spent sailing back towards florida...
and all day long, we spent outside getting our last tan on!

We were on the top deck, with wind blowing on us the whole time, we never knew how HOT the sun really was. Maybe that's why most of us were toasted and lobsters by dinner time.

The Last night on the cruise...........

The night started off with a bang, when Liem was locked outside half naked. And then Pip, who apparently drank a weeeeeeeeee little too much on deck in the afternoon, passed the fock out when we were trying to get ready for dinner. He had some lipstick, eyeshadow, blush, the whole nine yards painted on him. Then Liem pops up outta nowhere and calls him some japanese pornstar or crap like that.

but yes, liem has no right to call pip names, for which he had just came outta the other room, after straightening his hair with a straightener. psssssssssssh!

It was his birthday at midnight, and after a few shots, we were like lets roam the ship!

I got cold and Liem took care of me... by putting a shiet load of napkins on me. Now THAT is friendship=) HAHA

[hence the strange quality] We took a gazillion pictures on the boat by special people with cameras, and we got most of them. But they should be scanned and uploaded one of these days... so watch out for those=) They were much nicer group pictures! haha..

Our cruiseship docked at like 6am, we were allowed to leave around 8am, but our flight wasn't until 8PM. So the 8 of us stalled and we were pretty much the last people off the boat. We were the pretty much the last people to be picked up at the port and even when we got the hotel, we had like 8 hours to waste before going to the airport. While the other 3 had a 11:45 am flight. At first I was like maan, too bad we didn't take the earlier flight, but I am glad we stayed in Miami. It was a nice day out, we all got a hotel room at the WHITELAW hotel (where everything is really freaking white), took the 25 cent trolley bus to lincoln road mall, and walked the blocks of many shops, ate and played on the beach and saw our same ship leave for a new destination!

Whitelaw hotel where everything really is white. even the tv was white. geez. but the hotel was just 80 bucks and the hotel had free transportation to the airport. So it was a great deal, because if we took the shuttle bus anyway, I wouldve been the same price, but just for transportation from the port to the airport. So 10 bucks a piece and we had a place to store our luggage, shower and a ride to the airport. woot woot.

So this month, Palm Beach Tans is having a promotion. Free tans for a week. No strings attached, any bed, once a day, and it even includes the Mystic spray tan! So Vivian, at the end of her trial, took Diana and I along with her for the beginning of our trial last week. We tried the weak beds, then a stronger bed, and then a stronger bed, and yeaah, I feel like I did get more tan! [I love being dark.] Anyway, so today was the last day of our week long free tans, so Diana and I decided to use it on the mystic tan, [worth $25.00 for one session].

Oh, it was the most interesting tan experience indeed.

Usually, one of the workers there will follow you to the room, and explain how to use the tanning bed. Maybe they thought I was a pro? and I didnt need the info session......... either way, they told me to go to room #14, and no one followed to show me how!

Now, have you watched the one Friends episode, I believe its in season 10. ... the one where Ross Gets a Tan! That is definitely what I felt like. I laughed at Ross in the show for being stupid, but I see why he did what he did. First thing I did was I saw a sensor on the shower looking booth that said open/close. My first instinct was to wave my hand in front of the sensor, so the booth door opened. I was like OH NOOO, is it going to start??!?! It didn't. Thank god. So, I saw directions on the wall, so I stripped down and tried to follow the directions. First it said to put barrier cream on your hands and feet. All I saw was a bottle that said blending cream. BLENDING CREAM. My first thought is that, its supposed to HELP you wtih the tan, not BLOCK it. I read the small words, and so I used it as my barrier cream. I hope it's right, I guess I'll find out soon enough if my hands and feet turn orange. Then it says to use the shower cap to cover your head. So I did. But next to the white shower caps on the table, there were these blue looking shower like caps. A very ODD shaped looking shower cap, but I figured, hey double the protection, so I put that on my head as well. Then it said to put on the eye goggles. The rest of the directions was what to do inside. Let the nozzle spray, when it stops turn around. ..... I was like NOOOOO, not the turn around thing! [Seriously, watch that Friends episode, and you'll understand what I mean]. So I step in, wave my hand in front of the close door sensor, and the machine begins to talk.

"The spray will come out of the nozzles in 5 seconds. 5, 4, 3, 2... "

I was like oh my gosh oh my gosh. [hold breath] ".......1" and it begins spraying up and down. Now, I thought I was a good swimmer, and I can hold my breath for a long time, but maaan that shiet fucked me up. The first thing I did was open my mouth and breath. There was just soo much mist in the little booth for me NOT to breath. For some reason, it tasted like alcohol. Man, I wish it were alcohol. Instead, watch my teeth and tongue and the inside of my nose turn orange tomorrow. Hahaha. Then it stops, and it says something about turning around... and it begins spraying my back. Now, I thought since my face was away from the nozzle this time, I'd be able to hold my breath. I thought wrong. So again, I breathed in, mystic-fied my insides, and it stopped spraying. Can't shower for 4 hours, and it's making my skin feel stinky, like a hot humid day.

So afterwards, Diana comes out, and shes like did you wear those footsies?? I was like that blue thing that looked like the shower cap was a footsie?? NOOOOOOOOO!! I put it on my HEAD!!!!! Hahahaha...

Man, it was so strange. I'D DO IT ALL OVER! .... with nose plugs this time and with the footsies actually on my feet instead of my head. hahah.

So, my indoor tanning experience was fun and had results. Now, that place is pretty crowded! I think there is even more guys than girls in there getting tans. Maybe because of the promotion, and everyone is trying to get their free tans on, or maybe because summers coming up and everyones getting their [so, I overheard a few girls say] "base tan" on. Now, SOME people though, I hope they are just on their free trial, because if they are actually paying the whatever dollars a month to get their unlimited tanning done, and they are still THAT pale........ they better get their money back man. There were quite a few people where I wanted to scream out [ giiiiiiiiiiirl, you better get yo' money baaaaaaack, cuz that shiet aint WORKIN' for ya!!!] Of course I didn't, but I was definitely thinking it =D

I will edit tomorrow or something, with other things and pictures from the past week or two. I'm lazy right now, I just had enough typing energy for my tan story. yup!

ORANGE YOU GLAD YOU DIDNT GET THAT MYSTIC TAN????????

Man, I totally lied. I wrote that entry yesterday... when I was still normal colored. Today, I woke up... not sick, not cold.... but ORANGE! THE COLOR ORANGE. My face was ok, but it wasn't until I was driving... when I noticed my orange hands. So much for using that "blending cream." Obviously it didn't work, or alteast not to the full effect. Later on, my face started to look more and more orange, and my hands too. I told Diana, and she told me her feet were white because of the footsie thing she wore. I didn't believe her.... till I went out to eat lunch with her. She showed me her feet, and MAAAAAAAAAAAAAN I started laughing. They were white as can be compared to her orange ankles. We both vowed off the mystic tan forever at that moment. When I was eating, I looked down at my arms, and I was like OH MY GOSH! Both my arms were like orange on the outside, and like white on the inside. I look like an orange creamsicle popsicle looking thing! You can definitely tell where the spray hit and DIDNT hit my arms. We both have awful goggle looking tans too. Love the tanning beds, hate the mystic spray. Maybe someone else will have better luck. I think it'd be best if you weren't already dark to do the spray tan, that way you wont look rubbery orange like I am.

In a few minutes, I am going to take the longest shower ever. I will scrub till Mr. Clean jumps out and says you musnt scrub no mo' ! Here is a picture. It really does no justice. Only Diana saw me in person, she can vouch for me, I truly am orange. DAMN the mystic spray! But what you CAN see in the picture, is the inside of my arm and how its much lighter than my face. My face is almost equal to everywhere else on my body, except for the inside of my arms. But like I said, the picture does no justice. Atleast my legs look alright. Haha..

man, i just came back from eating out, and my parents saw me and my mom screams out, what happened to you! you look cambodian! [no offense to cambodians] hahaha.

So what else has been going on in the month of April. No idea, I just know if something was happening, I wasnt there. Lazy, but I am bored, geez. Son's birthday passed, The GMU VSA culture show, the after party at club fur, the APA formal... yada yada...

Went to eat at "The Prime Rib" in DC. I definitely am not a fine dining type of chick. I am more of a beer and chips kinda gal. Haha. I felt so outta place there! Diana gave Chau and I a gift certificate to celebrate our birthdays! So niiice of her. Anyway, we were all dressed up, and sitting uncomfortably upright, trying to put on our best table manners. Yes, it was quite the site. Diana ordered herself a glass of wine, but the waiter must've chose to ignore that, and brought a whole bottle out. He placed it in the middle of the table, unopenned, said nothing, just there in the middle. We all kinda stared at eachother like.. uhhhh, what now. A few minutes later, he comes back and opens it, and we are like OHHH! He pours Diana like.. 1/3 of a glass, ANd step back. My first reaction was to be like, WHAT! THATS ALL YOUR GONNA POUR!?!?! but then I realized I guess, it was to test it to see if she likes it. She nodded her head in agreement, and then he proceeds to pour to fill her glass. and Pips glass, and Denleys, Mine and Chaus. We were then like, uhhh, I guess well be forced to get the whole bottle then! Nice way of pushing your tab up and up! Cuz we didnt order the BOTTLE. geez. Anyway, dinner was delicious and we then headed to Modern afterwards. The 2nd most uncomfortable thing after being dressed up in a dress for fine dining is... being dressed up in a dress and going to a club! Haha.

Some random pictures from modern and sons bday at OB. Man, that week when we are OB, they got a table. A table wtih a bottle of KETTLE ONE vodka. WHO DOES THAT! That vodka focks me up... and not even in a good way. I think I have some sort of alergic reaction everytime i drink that. I once drank a shot before, I passed out and i felt so ill. This time when I saw the bottle, I was like oh nooo not that one. I drank ONE mixed drink anyway, started dancing, started getting mad dizzy, blacked out, almost puked, moved towards the bathroom, stopped, puked, made it to the bathroom, puked some more. Now I KNOW I can drink more than that, just... cant drink kettle one. Hahaha... Chau said I puked right in front of his friends, and they were like "oh my gosh, when did you guys get here?? how much did you guys drink????" ......... if only they knew. Hahaha. // and at OB, son was a trooper, hes old now, but man did he drink a lot. THe bartender was like its your birthday? youre getting fucked up! for everyone one shot she poured for everyone elses, son's was 3 times the size. By the end, he was drinking cup fulls of liquor. Bell drove the delerious boy home that night, Bell said he wouldn't shut up and he had to pull over 11 times. On a thursday night, and he has to go to work on Friday.... Now THATS what I call a trooper.

Saturday April 8th was the GMU VSA's culture show held at TJ HighSchool. First time there was a huge auditorium AND it was free. Good turnout. Missed most of the show though, so I am still waiting to see their modern dance video, so if anyone has it, link me!!!! Then me and di left the show mad early to go to FUR. Yeah, get in free with the DJ, didn't have to pay the 15 bucks to get in, but I ended up spending a whole lot more on drinks there anyway. Damn the expensive DC bars. Anyway, Armin Van Buren was there, so the main trance floor was packed to the limit. We spent... ohhhhh about 1 minute down in the middle of the dance floor, before our beating hearts couldn't take it no mo'. If I were dead, the bass of the music down there would've kept me alive. yup. Anyway, FUR is gay. No keychain on your keys allowed in, no gum or candy, and worst... NO CAMERA ALLOWED. We managed to get our picture taken once by THEIR photographer, so yay for that.

So last weekend on April 15, was the APA formal at the Hilton Hotel, hosted by GMU's VSA, FCA and KSA. Chau was spinnin and we got a whole table, so it was cool. The only thing was maybe the superlatives, and since our table, no one is a part of the organizations.. the stuf all sounded like inside jokes. We were left out. But it was ok, because out table was right next to the bar, and the food kept us company. The all you can eat was pretty decent! We all danced till 1am when it was over. Amazing how many people love down south and that new TI song. Hahaha. anyway, here are some pictures from that night.

Yesterday night.

Oh my focking god. When I usually type up a xanga entry, I copy and paste it to something else as I go. This time, I was eating dinner in the middle of it, chatroom, yada yada, and then the most dreadful thing EVER happened. IT FROZE! and the little evil "firefox had an error occur, click to send report, or dont send" focking evil box showed up, and yes froze everything. I couldn't copy and paste, print screen or anything, ahhhhhhhhhhh. And my super long entry, that took 3 hours on and off to type up ..........is now BLANK.

Xanga, how could you do this to me. I have been faithful and loyal forever! For you have disapointed me today, because I have short term memory, and I don't remember what the hell I wrote, and now my entry won't be as detailed. Haha, not that anyone really reads the shiet, but still! I want to read this when I am 80 years old, and relive my youthful days. HAHA.

I almost hate xanga. you all need to come up with the shiet like gmail does, and saves what your writing automatically every minute. gmail is great. COPY THEM!

So it started on March 23rd, and my birthday happened to have fallen on a Thursday. I wasn't really gonna go out, but I had a long day at work, and I had nothing else to do anyway, so I was like fock it, to orange ball it is. It was another Thursday night there, drinkin' and shootin' pool, but this time it was slightly more special because Theresa brought in this random ass cake and my so so special friends busted out singing happy bday. Hahaha.

On friday, I threw a joint birthday party for the Fab Five at the Oakton house. I wanted for us to be around all the people we care about as we are growing a year older and a year wiser=) Happy barfday you all! Anyway, we did a lot of in-ings. Drinkin', singin', karoke-in', dancin', partyin', flip cuppin', chuggin' , reunion-in' and whatever in-ings. I didn't realize I drank so much, I was just chillin on the couch and they tucked me to sleep. On a full tank of liquor too. No wonder I woke up with worlds most crucial hangover. The JMU girls and whoever else sleptover woke up around 11 and left, and I ... I myself stayed in bed till like 4pm. I only got up to attempt to clean up, but maaan, mopping while hungover = more hungover. Thanks to whoever picked up the trash and stuff and created 6 huge ass bags full of trash. But seriously, I was so hungover, for every one bag I moved out to the garage, I had to lay down for another 15 minutes. Hahaha. maan. So yes, you all say you never see me drunk, well I don't think I acted drunk, I got put to bed before that happened. boo. hahaha. But sorry to whoever sleptover and was freeeezing cold in the basement. You guys didn't open the vent!!! Not my fault. Anyway, hope you guys had fun, if you didn't too bad, because I don't care. I did. =)

This week, it was Chau's official birthday. Though we also celebrated it last week, more celebrating doesn't hurt =) We went to eat at Olive Garden, which I have not eaten at for like over 4 years. It was great!! We went to Modern afterwards because Chau got a table there, and well, since he was finally off from Djing, he could actually just chill for once! Whoever was around came out, we danced, we saw weird people, we got hit on by weird people. Yeah, it was quite interesting. But the bday boy drank up and since Bell had to stay up till 5 to pick up his mom from dulles, we didn't till like 3ish. Did the Ihop thang and by the time I got home it was almost 6. woot.

The VSA @ VCU culture show/ Miss VSA show was this past weekend. I've always wanted to hold a Miss VSA show, but there was never any free month to do so! Between the auction and the culture show, there was never anytime. But I am glad my brother told em the idea and somehow they incorporated a culture show into the Miss VSA show, and it turned out to be a great show. They asked the previous presidents to judge, so yup, I still had something to do even though I already graduated. YAY! Too bad when I came, they were like aight, read these 10 essays. The judging for the top 5 were based on the essay, the question and answer of the culture and the delivery. All the ladies did great, but unfortunantly, only 5 could be chosen. And of course out of 5, the top 3 were chosen for the winners. Man, let me tell you, it was daaaamn hard judging. It's hard to judge friends, it's hard not be biased, it's hard to judge with other people who all have different opinons. But in the end, they were chosen, and if I could, I would award all the girls wtih something. Definitely not being cheesy, but everyone deserved to be placed. Anyway, the modern dance was off the hizzoook, the traditional dance was great, overall, great show=)

We prepartied at Kim and Amy's apartment. Fun times, expecially laughing our asses off, with Fifi trying to show us her buttocks and singing my humps. Girl, seriously, stop singing that song! We are all traumatized for life. Go back to Radford. *wink*wink* Anyway, so we didn't get to Kobe till almost Midnight, and it was like kinda dead! We were like maaan, and we thought we were late! 10 minutes later, the whole place was packed. Both floors were crowded, so finally after a drought of aiight parties at Kobe, this one was crowded and fun. We after-after-partied at Diana's house out in bumfock Southside, because her mommy made so much food and because I gotta sleep on an actual bed. Hahah. Chilled to the break of dawn again, and got up, ate, went with chau to returned some shiet, and then by then it was like 5pm and we went to Short Pump Mall to meet up the friends and shop. Only had time to shop in one store, but I did get to eat at Coldstone Creamery for the first time. Fantastic ice cream. YUP. That was my weekend. Hahaha.

May 12th or May 19th or something. $399 for airfare, hotel, food, drinks, alcoholic drinks, nonmotorized water activities, yada yada... sounds like a good deal to me! Or Cruises right now, the first 2 people are like 300ish and something, and the 3rd and 4th person is only 99 dollars.

Haha, did anyone realize I got my haircut? I know it may still seem long to you all, but I swear I had like 5ish inches cut off. It's really noticable when I tie it in a ponytail. My long ponytail has now become a really short one. EEK. Chau got me a gift certificate to PR and Partners in Chantilly. Never been there, and they randomly put me with "Krissy." I was like picturing a little petite white cheerleader type of girl.... I ended up with a little petite asian girl, who happen to be vietnamese too! So I was happy and she was nice. And she even had my cousin as her dentist back in the day. HAhah. Then she said she had long hair like me, so when she was cutting and I was like hmmm, looks like it could be a little shorter, she was like, lemme do this first and THEN if you want it shorter, then I'll do it. Thank god she said that. I was like phew! It's already short to me, anymore I might start crying. Hahaha. March 2. The usual OB thursdays, celebrating a late birthday for Bess and an early birthday for Cat.

Friday March 3-5... SNOWSHOE, West Virgina

So yeah, met up at the oakton house friday night after work, and we packed all our stuff into 2 SUV's and left around 8.30 something. A 4 hour drive or something but the drive wasnt TOO bad, the mountain part of the drive was crazy though. Random ass U-turn type of turns on the mountain and sharp ass turns going up kept us all awake. Haha. I volunteered to drive that half too, only because if I didn't.. I probably would've thrown up all over the car. Me and my stupid motion sickness. WHAACK. Anyway, Snowshoe is supposedly the nicest ski resort on the east coast, and now I see why. So nice, so many trails, nice fluffy snow, real trees, REAL snow and DEER at the top of the mountain.... and our hotel was right in the middle of the slope. So the whole ski-in-ski-out thing was tight! 9of us in a nice lil condo, and a mountain full of snow to learn on. Nice jumps, half pipe, banging loud ass music to get you hyped. HAha.Anyway, so it was a fun filled weekend=)

Chau bought me a butt pad! It came in maaaad handy, because I fell on my ass soooo many times. wooh. // and Liem, trying them on.

Friday March 10. It was Bea's Birthday party @ Penang. With Dj Chizzau and Dj Twinspin... spinnin' all these 80's jams. I love 8o's music! Woot Woot! Anyway, pretty fun night! Would've been even BETTER if the drinks weren't so damn expensive! The shooters are like half the size and it's like 10 bucks each. Crazy. Anyway... it was fun. Anyway, what do you guys think of this pink shirt. When I saw it, I made fun of it, but then I bought it anyway. I dont know if its cool, or if its a "wtf is she wearing" shirt. Hahaha...

Saturday March 11th:
Woke up maaaaad early to go snowboardin'. Didn't bring my camera, so no cool snowboardin' pictures. We went to Liberty, and it was HOOOOOOOOOOT ass hell. Hot, not like awesome hot, but as in HOT HOT. Everyone was snowboardin in T-shirts, I even saw a girl in a skimpy tank top. The snow was slushy, like watery slushy, but it was still cool.

Came back and went out to Aqua with the peoples. It was the Xbox giveaway party. Well, SUPPOSEDLY. Good gimmick to get people out, there were mad people, they just never gave away an xbox. gaay. Good times with everyone, even though I really hate Aqua, only because Chau DJ's ... that's the only reason why I would be there. So to all the people at Aqua who ran into me there, and was like "heeey annie!! wassup?? wheres chau??" and I did my [point to the DJ booth] thing... the next time you ask me that at aqua, just look at the dj before asking me where chau is! HAHA. Did the Ihop thing after Aqua... and our favorite waitress yen served us again.. and I didn't get home till i dunno, but I think i was up since snowboardin for like 24 hours. geez.

Week 3. March 16th. OB AGAIN. i know=X The only difference this time was that we drank sooooooooooooooooo much. Cherry bombs, sex with an alligator, gummy bear, the green drink, patron and all these other random ass drinks... no wonder I didnt feel too good in the morning.

Friday March 17th. St. Pattys daaaaay.
Chau had a work retreat to go to all weekend at UVA. So charlottesville, va.... here I came. Haha. His work paid a hotel stay for everyone at his work + 1 guest, dinner, breakfast, lunch, formal dinner and activities to do. Baller work. Traffic down 66, so we finally get there around 630 something, just in time for the 7pm open bar and dinner. Slept early, because chau had to go to meetings in the morning, while I went SNOWBOARDING. HAhahaha.

Saturday. March. 18th. Nos and James drove up early morning, and us 3 went to wintergreen. I just had to get in the last days of the season. Came back, in the middle of the formal open bar, but quickly put myself together and escorted mister chizzau to his dinner=) afterwards they were doing casino night but chau snuck out and we followed him to a KSA party. He was in town, so he said ok to DJing their party. It was a little whack, not the dj, but the crowd. too many girls or something. Haha. Good thing Z showed up and took us to his house, where they were throwing lynn a birthday a party there! Happy birthday girl!! Finally saw some familiar faces, so the night wasn't too bad. Got wasted with nos and james... haha. Slept in and check out was at 12... so it was cool. =) yup that was my recent weekend.

Soooo speaking of birthdays..... my birthday is coming up this thursday. yay to being old. [-er] I am going to have a joint birthday party @ the oakton house with Johnny(march 21), Vivian(march 26), Chau (april 2), Son (april 6) and of course I, (march 23).

the two week recap

Keep saying that I'll keep up with everyone else on xanga, but.. again, I have failed. Past few weeks have been fun. Pictures explain what I have been up to.

2 weeks before:

Chau was DJing at Penang out in DC, so we made it a girls night, including ralph [but its ok, because we pretend like hes our gay friend]. We went to eat 2 doors down from Penang at some Malaysian resturant. Theresa, always the daredevil in new foods, and told us to eat there. Walked in, and it smelt like CURRY. I wanted to run out, but I'm glad I didn't because only half the menu is curry-ish, the other half is normal noodles and spin-offs of the chinese noodles, chow fun. Very interesting experience, but I would do it again =)

So instead of heading right over to Penang, [which wouldve made more sense because it was right there] we went to Modern in Georgetown first and THEN end the night with our dj chizzau. Haha. Modern's password to get in for the night was "talkin 'bout all that jazz." But when the guestlist/password girl looked at me, I seriously really wanted to say "talkin 'bout all that jizz!!!!!" She probably wouldn't let me in, HAhaa. Anyway, Modern was fun. Very mixed crowd, saw Joe spin for a little bit, and the rest of the time we just drank up. Rounds after rounds of their "drinks that are special because their from modern" specialty drinks later from our cool bartender Wes, we were having a ball. Half was the alcohol, half was the fact that Ralph only drank 1.5 drinks, and he was passed out like a mother focker. [I am almost ashamed to call u my friend, ralph!] Anyway, so hes passed out on everyones lap, and of course were taking photographic evidence of it, and this older white dude was like "that's wrong. You should stop taking pictures of him, that's really wrong." I look at him and I'm like... "uhh, would YOU like to take a picture WITH him???" and he's like, "SUUUUUUUUURE!!!" Hhahahahaha. He heads off to the mens room, and so we knew it was about that time to go to Penang.

Sooooo, we got to Penang and it's like paaaacked. Paaaacked with asians. Cool place with a big back room to dance, the only thing that sucked were the bartenders. Ignoring the girls... soooo obviously too. We're standing there, and she gets the guys to the right of us, and to the left of us, and back to the right. We were like WTF!! Other than that, Chau rocked the dance floor, took pictures in this elevator that was behind the dj booth, took pictues in the kitchen with the rice cookers that were behind the elevator that was behind the dj booth, danced around, and I finally got meet my buddy from myspace. Didn't know he was one of the promoters for that party, but hes a nice promoter, because later on he shoves a like half filled grey goose bottle at us and tells us to drink! And of course, we listened and swigged. Hahaha.

Saturday Feb 18th, woke up and we all hit up whitetail for some snowboarding. This time more of us, like 12 of us or something. Doesn't matter though, you always lose people, or people break off. Haha. Tried to learn how to carve some, but that = me falling on my knees. My last fall right before we left, left me on the ground, face down in the snow. Hurt so much.... When Chau and Vicky or Jen came up to me and asked if I was ok, I was like, "I think I am crying, but I can't really tell because my face is frozen, so am I??" Hahahhahahaha. Oh but my knee hurts so much because BURTON pants are GAAAAY. I have pockets on my knees. Not ON my knees, but right below it, so the buttons for the flap to CLOSE the pockets are right ON THE KNEES. When I fall, I fall on those buttons. Gosh. But I just bought knee pads, so I am ready for this weekend to fall on my knees=) Didn't take that many pictures this time around, I guess because I was falling on my freaking knees.

That Saturday night...after a napping from snowboarding, we partied at Club Home, because it was last night of Climax DC promoting there. Went out with a bang, lots of people, longer happy hour, fashion show, drunk birthday people, the usual fun times. Supposedly the main floor Dj is no longer going spin there, so Chau is going to spin the main floor. I think if and when the 2nd floor IS open, its better than main floor. Just when I thought I was done with club Home... hahaha....

A little behind on the Valentines day thing, but I love balloons, or shall I say baaa-yooon!! [chau claims i said that when my 19th birthday balloon went out the window somewhere, i was drunk and sad the balloon went away.. give me a break=P ] Ate our hearts out at Uno's. Yeah nothing fancy, but that's how we roll=)

Sooo yeaah, started off the week by eating at buffalo wing university on tuesday. 39 cent wing night. Chau and Liem got these gift certificates online from hot 99.5 for 12 bucks, but they are worth 25. They each got 2, but they couldn't find liems house, so they sent them to chaus, and then finally they did find liems house and sent him 2 more. So it was like an extra 50 bucks free to eat and on 39 cent wing night, it took a lot of wings to hit that amount.

Friday. VSA @ GMU was throwing a culture show fundraising party @ club Aqua. I still hate that place, but I go to support the local VSA and of course Dj chizzau <33. They met me up at my oakton house, we ate dianas awesome cake, pregamed some while singing karoke. Left at 11, and list closes at 11.30. Ralph was driving and hes like oh we WILL get there....... and we did. Exactly at 11:30. WOoohoo. Thank goodness for crazy drivers *ahem* Ralph. Not the crowd occupancy I was expecting, but we still had fun. Not sure why, but we did. Maybe it was watching the crazy fifi do her my humps dance, or watching strange outfits go by or maybe it was just the lovely people I was with =) <333

Went down to VCU on saturday for the FIND party, hosted by FACT @ VCU. It was held at Kobe, and as usual, I love re-uniting with my old coworkers. I miss that place. But anyway, the party was fun, lots of friends from VCU I havent seen in forever, dancing on the benches, late night fine dining at 3rd st diner yeaaah, the fun usual times at VCU. THanks theresa and henry for letting me stay over in my ex-apt. HAha. Went to eat pho on sunday and went to rugged wearhouse after and got cute sandals for like 4 bucks each. niiiice.

I can't wait till its warm. I love warm weather. As much as I love snowboardin and ice skating, nothing beats rollerblading and swimming and just chillin the hot hot hot sun and sand. I really want to go on a cruise or some sorta weekend trip, maybe in mid April. A cruise, Las Vegas, something!! Beach trip in the works for the summer vacation, but every school has a different beach week, so not sure what to do.

Sooooooooooooo, this weekend, we are going to go snowboarding at Snowshoe, WV. 4-5 hour drive... I hope its worth it! Rented a condo for the weekend, so if anyone wants to go, hollaaaaaaaa!! because we still have room in the cars! and the more the merrier and the more the cheaper! =) You have until this friday to say something. Excited to go, because everyone says this is the best mountain on the east coast. HAhaha, I talk as if I am good, but Im not. But I do hope to be one day! Its time to test out these knee pads from sports authority!!

Oh yeah, March 23rd is my birthday, so save that weekend for me =) Most likely I'll throw a little house party. Not sure what else to do, any suggestions? Ehh, not that big of a deal because I am now old. ewwwie.
